Multi-Part Assembly

Customers can achieve major cost reductions when multiple parts can be stamped and assembled as part of a single operation. Mursix design and manufacturing engineers are experts in the application of this cost-saving approach and have worked with numerous customers in the development of components. Our engineers combine their expertise in the selection and specification of a variety of high-value materials with manufacturing experience in the stamping, machining, joining, and other processing of these materials.

In a typical operation, hopper-fed silver contacts will be inserted into a beryllium copper contact spring leaf, which is then joined to a brass strip to complete the assembly. By combining these processes in a single machine, we cut labor content and processing time, and improve quality through reduced handling.
