Value Added Processes
Complementing our primary manufacturing capabilities at Mursix is our broad range of value-added operations. These include welding, plating, wire processing, molding, in-die contact staking, screw machining, CNC machining, tapping, the insertion and ultrasonic welding of leads, multi-part assembly, and other in-machine processing functions.
And, as is the case with our primary manufacturing processes, technology plays a key part. In the welding area, for example, we use the latest controlled projection welding technology in the production of more than 20,000 welded assemblies per day. In our in-die contact staking operation, we use fiber optic and load cell technology to verify critical dimensional characteristics and to ensure that contacts are seated with no air gaps present.
