Multislide Stamping
Our multislide operation is one of the focal points of the company's manufacturing expertise. By definition, a multislide is an automatic machine designed specifically for the economical production of stampings from coil stock. Because we work primarily with high-value materials (gold, silver, palladium, beryllium, copper, etc.), we make extensive use of the ability of our more than fifty multislide machines to simultaneously feed and process multiple coil strips into an assembly.
The unique functions of our multislide machines allow our tool designers and process engineers to design processes that eliminate secondary operations and excess handling, and to incorporate a number of value-added operations (such as tapping, countersinking, contact insertion, and multi-part assembly) into the basic part production process.
