Machining Centers

A key component of our toolmaking and prototyping capabilities is our suite of vertical and horizontal machining centers. For example, Our VMC combines more than 1,100 square inches of work table area, a 32-tool random access tool changer, and a spindle speed of 7,000 rpm to give us unparalleled flexibility in the manufacture of tooling and prototypes. Our vertical and horizontal machining centers complement our wire EDM capabilities by allowing us to group multiple large details, as well as accurately finishing smaller details with minimum setup time.

All our machining centers are linked to an off-line programming system that is part of our enterprise-wide engineering documentation system. Located throughout the tool room are networked computer terminals that allow toolmakers to have engineering data and prints at their fingertips.
