Tool Room
Our tool room capabilities are a hallmark resource of Mursix. In our self-contained tooling facility, we control every aspect of tool design, construction and maintenance. Tooling is constructed on the latest equipment, including multi-axis machining centers that work directly from the engineering database, reducing design and build time, and ensuring tool accuracy.
We coat die components with titanium nitride or carbonitride to improve chemical stability. Sensors are built into tools to allow verification that parts are being made to print. We utilize cam action tooling, which allows for adjustment during manufacturing, thus ensuring dimensional control.
